Project Formulation
I will be focusing on the consumption of meat from livestock and the decisions modern city consumers (25-55 years) are faced with when purchasing meat products. I will be making research on to what extent consumers consider their choices before buying meat products. I intend to graphically communicate facts about the livestock sector and its related consequences when it comes to human health, animal welfare and environmental factors in particular. My goal is to make a starting point from where an open conversation can be made about the choices consumers make on a daily basis. My success criteria is to make consumers more aware of their decisions and the consequences caused by meat consumption in general. I would like to inspire consumers to reflect and understand the many aspects of the modern meat industry and make them realize how they can affect them by their decisions. By providing an information base of facts on the livestock sector and its related consequences I hope to make this issue one to discuss alongside other environmental issues nowadays.
